Sinopsis

El libro comienza, en el verano de 1993, con Harry estudiando el libro de Historia de la magia, por la noche, ya que sus tíos no querían que estudiara magia. Al otro día Harry recibe una llamada de Ron Weasley su mejor amigo, pero es atendido por Tio Vernon quien se asusta, ya que Ron grita del teléfono. Vernon dice que no vive ningún Harry Potter en la casa.

Harry, poco después por noche en la casa de sus tíos, ve en las noticias "muggle" que un fugitivo llamado Sirius Black se ha escapado de prisión, aunque no mencionan de dónde se ha fugado.

Vernon dice que Marge, su hermana, vendrá a casa, a Harry no le agrada esta mujer criticona y aunque tolera su estadía haciendo muchos esfuerzos, en la última noche de estancia, la mujer comienza a criticar a los padres de Harry y éste enfurece. Por arte de magia, su tía se infla como un globo y se va volando. El chico se da cuenta que le ha lanzado un encantamiento y decide irse de la casa de sus tíos, seguro de que ha sido expulsado de Hogwarts por realizar magia siendo un menor de edad.

Opinión Personal

Este libro es de mis favoritos de la saga, pasan cosas interesantes que tienen que ver con los padres de Harry y con él mismo. No faltan las cosas inesperadas, en este tercer año en el colegio Hogwarts.
Recomiendo tanto este libro como esta saga, ya que es una historia bastante completa.
